TW Fall Opportunity

THE WISCONSIN HOCKEY CLUB

The Wisconsin Hockey Club operates under the umbrella of Team Wisconsin Hockey, supporting community-based programs such as WIAA and WAHA. The club runs during the fall season only with teams not national bound.

The Wisconsin Hockey Club is dedicated to building a strong and welcoming community of individuals and coaches who are focused on developing players in all aspects of the game in Wisconsin. Our aim is to grow players who are confident, well-rounded, and grounded, demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and respect for themselves and others both on and off the ice, and have a lifelong passion for succeeding.

Players have numerous options that each family needs to find what works best for them from a development standpoint, cost, travel and overall experience desired.  We highly encourage kids to participate in WHC, WEHL(www.wi-ehl.net) or other options that work best for kids playing High School in the fall.

PRACTICES

Practice and development are crucial components of the Team Wisconsin and Wisconsin Hockey Club model. Just like TW, once the team rosters are finalized, coaches and managers will work together to create an effective practice schedule that will allow both TW and WHC players to practice together regionally on a weekly basis with TW/WHC Coaches across the State.

More information about the fall season will be available soon.

TOURNAMENTS, SHOWCASES, & GAMES

The Wisconsin Hockey Club will participate in a game model that could include Tier I and Tier II teams. Our U14, 15O, and U16 teams will compete in the Minnesota Tier 1 League for a portion of their season while also playing exhibition games and participating in tournaments/showcases in the mid-west.

TEAM WISCONSIN & WISCONSIN HOCKEY CLUB TRYOUT INFORMATION

Skaters are HIGHLY encouraged to attend the Team Wisconsin Open and Final Tryout Camps. Registration for these tryout camps is below, but if your skater can not make the TW tryouts, the WHC will offer an alternative date of June 9th in Fond du Lac, WI. Below are some things to note about tryouts for WHC teams.

  • WHC teams will offer spots to skaters prior to the June 9th tryout. These spots will be offered to skaters who attend the TW Final Tryout camp from May 31st to June 2nd.
  • Skaters who attend the alternative June 9th WHC tryout will not be given the $400 discount at team registration if they make the team like anyone attending the TW open and final camps who fall short on being selected to TW after the final camp.
